On Stage:
Billy Elliot

"Billy Elliott The Musical" is all about transformation and resilience, as a young boy follows his dreams in a community that has fallen on hard times.

The 10-time Tony-winning Broadway show, named “best musical of the decade,” almost didn’t get off the ground in Halifax, when the pandemic came calling. Then, later, with the two leads aging out of their roles, artistic director Jeremy Webb had to start from scratch. But now he and the cast are ready.

The show took place from April - June.

Jeremy Webb, Artistic Director at Neptune

“The music [of Sir Elton John] drives this beast of a show, and joy washes over the audience. This show has thrilled audiences for years and I am so happy to finally direct it here at Neptune.”
