Every year, the world's fastest race comes to Montreal! CAA and Shell gifted two lucky winners and their guests the experience of a lifetime by giving them exclusive VIP access to the three-day celebration of speed, prestige, and much more!
Our first winners, Ralph Yeo and Ralph Sr. Yeo, a father-son duo from Nova Scotia, were flown into Montreal by CAA and Shell.
They were greeted by the Shell team at the Embassy Suites Hotel, where they were hosted for the whole weekend. The hotel, located at the junction of downtown and Old Montreal, offered them the perfect opportunity to relax and take in the sights of this emblematic part of the city.
The next day, the real fun began!
Our winners enjoyed an exclusive coach bus ride to Montreal's Casino, where boats awaited to bring them to the Elite Lounge. They were greeted with a high-quality catering assortment and witnessed firsthand the power and elegance of the race cars during the first round of free practice sessions on Montreal's Gilles Villeneuve Circuit. The Elite Lounge, situated a few meters above the track, provided clear views of the paddocks and an excellent vantage point of turn #1, where drivers must transition from breakneck speeds to a masterful maneuver around the classic corner.

Ralph Sr. shared with a Shell employee as they exchanged stories over supper at Le Jacopo, one of Montreal's top-class restaurants nestled in the heart of Old Montreal. Ralph, who lives with his wife in Ontario, doesn't get to spend much time with his dad, making this a very special moment we were able to curate for them.berconIQ to offer this resource to our members. Throughout the weekend, the CAA and Shell teams ensured that our winners were well taken care of.
